Your Home for Wellbeing

There has always been a home for Yoga at Kingdom, which has evolved into what is known as Flourish today - part of a spectacular wooden eco-building that has been designed to preserve and embrace the nature surrounding it. Our studio features expansive glass-fronted windows which take in the surrounding countryside so you can feel at one with the natural environment. In the warmer months, we benefit from use of a stunning rooftop to host classes amongst the treetops. Immersed in nature, these very special classes are set to the rhythm of nature, whilst you enjoy spectacular views across the valley below.

  • Natalie

    With 20 years experience on the mat, Natalie teaches breathing as the foundation of your Yoga practice. Believing that while a good asana practice improves your health, strength and flexibility, a practice of asana combined with a devoted breathing practice holds the key to personal transformation.

  • Rowena

    Yoga has been part of Rowena's life for over 20 years, and a daily practice has helped keep her life in check. Rowena shares the gifts of balance, patience, and a sense of calm through her classes.

  • Kiri

    Kiri has lived locally for 30 years and has practised yoga for half of that time. She has been teaching since 2017, always bringing a sense of humility onto the mat to create a calming and supportive atmosphere within her classes.

  • Amy

    Amy first became discovered Yoga when she was 19 years old. Her classes are known for their clarity and technique, her anatomically informed teaching, heart-felt philosophy and above all - inclusivity. Her mission is to help you build a smarter and more sustainable yoga practice, that will help you move, feel and live better.

  • Charlotte

    Charlotte qualified as a yoga teacher in 2017 and continues to study and be inspired by a range of teachers and styles. Her classes are creative yet alignment-based focusing on a journey of self-enquiry to achieve balance between flexibility and strength - not only on a physical but also on a mental level.

  • Brigid

    Brigid has been teaching for over 20 years; making her a Senior Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. Brigid is our Postnatal teacher, offering Mum & Me Yoga classes at Flourish; giving new Mum's a sense of community, space to relax and bond with their babies.

  • Emily

    Emily discovered Yoga back in 2002 and has now been teaching for over 18 years. She facilitates a joyful and nurturing safe space for you to share, let go and discover yourself in a new, harmonious and empowering way.

  • Grant

    Grant has been practicing a variety of yoga styles for 9 years - initially to complement his training as a British Masters athlete and help his balance on a surfboard but has discovered so many more benefits along the way. His classes are designed to be both challenging and fun for students of all standards and abilities.

  • Jana

    Jana had been practising Yoga for over 11 years when she completed her Yoga Teacher Training. Her passion for the practise is palpable in her classes which share the magic of yoga through the meaningful experiences she creates in her classes.

  • Natalie S

    Natalie is a breathwork facilitator specialising in PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® and sound healing therapist who also works with crystals, Reike, cold water therapy and plant medicine including cacao.

  • Charlotte S

    Charlotte's yoga journey began 5 years ago when she was deep in bereavement. She creates safe spaces for you to practice yoga without fear and to find light, courage and strength during those darker days.

  • Hayley

    Hayley has been musical from a young age and developed a deep appreciation for the therapeutic effects of sound on the mind and body. Now a certified practitioner, she hosts events which provide an opportunity for self-healing, improved health and a greater sense of inner peace.

  • Kirsten

    Kirsten is a certified Sound Healer sharing the ancient ritual of sound alchemy, weaving in Shamanic and Eastern influence into her practice. After witnessing the profound effects sound healing had on her mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing over the last 2 years, she was drawn to share this beautiful gift with others.

  • The teachers at Flourish are nothing short of exceptional. I have done yoga all over the world and I can honestly say some of the best classes I have been to have been at Flourish! The location is stunning and helps you find an even deeper level of peace and happiness. Surrounded by nature and with a yummy café to enjoy post-class, I can't see myself ever leaving. Rowena's voice and Slow Flow class is particularly magical!

  • You will find the Flourish studio nestled amongst ancient woodland at KINGDOM on the outskirts of Penshurst. Conveniently located between Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, KINGDOM is situated on Grove Road.

  • We highly recommend you book online before arriving at your class. Book your classes online HERE or download the Flourish Wellness App free on the APP STORE or GOOGLE PLAY.

    Cancellations can be made up to 12 hours prior to your class commencing and credits will be returned to your class pass or Flourish account.

    We do not provide refunds for cancellations. Please read our full terms and conditions HERE for workshop, retreat and course cancellations.

    Any late or non-cancellations will mean you forfeit that visit.

  • Whilst we encourage your to join any of our classes, our website offers indications as to the Level and the Intensity of each class to help you choose an appropriate class for your experience in Yoga and your current level of fitness.

    Our teachers are all experienced in offering variations of different poses for beginner students, and more advanced modifications or progressions for the more experienced yogis.

    Yoga is all about your personal journey on the mat so we have a ‘take what you need and leave what you don't’ philosophy!

  • All you need to bring is yourself, a water bottle and an open mind. We provide you with everything you need; including Yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and other recommended yoga props. Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat and yoga towel if you’d prefer.

    Wear comfortable, stretchy and light exercise clothing that will allow you to move with ease. We encourage layers so that you can adapt to changes in temperature during your class.

  • We’re sorry for the inconvenience. If your Flourish Wellness App is not working correctly here are a few things you can try;

    Ensure the Flourish Wellness App is updated to the latest version.

    Ensure your Apple or Android operating software is up to date.

    Turn your phone off and on.

    If you haven’t already, please delete the Flourish Wellness App and re-install it on your phone or device, this generally fixes everything

    Lastly, you can reset your password using the Forgot Password link.

  • All classes have a waitlist feature. Be sure to add yourself to the waitlist via our app or our website, as there are often cancellations. If you are waitlisted for a class you will receive a text and/or email to confirm your space up until 6 hours before the class.

  • Yes, there is ample free car parking at Kingdom, within easy access of the studio and with clear signs to direct you to your class.

    We recommend arriving 10 – 15 minutes early to your class to find a park and allow yourself time to settle in. After all, there is nothing worse than rushing to your yoga class!

  • Yes, yoga is a great way to keep your body feeling strong and supple and your mind calm and steady during pregnancy. Practising during pregnancy is a very individual process, so we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional before attending a class.

    It is always very important to notify your teacher that you are pregnant at the beginning of the class so they can offer you modifications.

  • Many students find yoga to be a helpful practice when working through an injury but it depends on the specifics so we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional before attending a class.

    When you arrive at the studio, make sure to chat to your teacher about your injury before class and they will do their best to provide you with advice and any specific modifications to keep you safe during your practice.

  • Yes, our classes are open to children aged 10+, however any children under the age of 16 must be supervised and accompanied by a parent.

    Our classes are not specifically geared towards children, so if you have a question about your child participating in a class or event, please feel free to contact us.

  • Yes, we do! Working one-to-one is a great way to delve deeper into your individual needs or address specific health concerns. Please contact us via email at studio@flourishwellness.co.uk to schedule a private or small group yoga session.
