Our retreat is an easy 45-minute drive or train ride from London.
Our day retreats are held at The Beacon. Tucked away down Tea Garden Lane, The Beacon provides an oasis of calm in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. A traditional country house with stunning views across Happy Valley, our picture postcard perfect boutique retreat destination is pure English countryside bliss.
FOOD
A delicious two-course plant-based lunch will be provided by The Beacon kitchen and complimentary water, teas and coffee will be available throughout the day.
All the ingredients and produce are freshly sourced from local markets and farmers, including an abundance of wholesome home-cooked food with plenty of condiments and goodies. Expect to feel nourished and energised.
YOUR DAY RETREAT EXPERIENCE
9.30 am Arrive at the Retreat. Make your own way to The Beacon and be warned, once you arrive you won’t want to leave! Exhale… it’s time to slow down.
10:00 am We’ll start the day with herbal tea and an opening circle to connect with your new yogi friends.
10:30 am Enjoy a blissful 2 hours of holistic yoga, breathwork, and meditation with an extended relaxation.
12.30 pm Nourish yourself with a two-course plant-based lunch. Delicious food and great chats with amazing company, do Wednesdays get any better than this?!
2.00 pm Enjoy some free time for you. Cosy on the sofa with a book, treat yourself to cake in the bar, or have a nap! Want a little more? We’ll be hosting an optional experience - an energising walk to take in the surrounding countryside.
3:30 pm Unwind with a restorative Yin Yoga practice and live sound healing experience. Absolute bliss!
5:00 pm Float back home feeling completely recharged and ready to plan your next yoga escape…

YOUR HOST
Natalie Chaponnel
With 20 years experience on the mat, Natalie teaches breathing as the foundation of your Yoga practice. Believing that while a good asana practice improves your health, strength and flexibility, a practice of asana combined with a devoted breathing practice holds the key to personal transformation.
Natalie will guide you throughout each of your practices. You don’t need any experience, and we will be able to cater to all levels of yoga - whether you are practicing for the first time or you have an established practice.
Natalie is passionate about creating retreat experiences, and her goal is to assist you in getting the most out of your retreat so that you leave feeling fully balanced and deeply connected.
